Leaf-shaped PP plant tag with an Impinj Monza 4QT inlay in a 52 × 20 × 2 mm pocket; reads at 7–8 m on a 4 W fixed reader and 1.5–2 m on a handheld.
The ST-160 is a UHF RFID plant tag molded in the shape of a leaf, for trees, shrubs, nursery stock, orchards, arboretums and public gardens. It gives each plant a machine-readable ID that ties it to planting, pruning, treatment and sales records.
The body is PP and holds an Impinj Monza 4QT inlay working across 860–960 MHz. The inlay sits in a molded pocket measuring 52 × 20 × 2 mm. That pocket is the only dimension on the datasheet, and the leaf itself is larger. The product photo shows a short stem at the narrow end of the leaf.
Range is generous for a tag of this kind: 7–8 m with a 4 W fixed reader and 1.5–2 m with a handheld. Staff can check tagged trees from a path with a handheld, and a reader on a gate, cart or vehicle can log plants as they are moved or dispatched.
Place the tag where the leaf face is not pressed against a wet trunk or buried in foliage, since water absorbs UHF energy and shortens range. Confirm the overall size and the attachment method with a sample, as the datasheet lists only the inlay pocket dimensions.

Build an RFID asset tracking system: on-metal, ceramic and tie-on tags matched to each asset, handheld audits, smart cabinets and IP67 HF heads for tooling.
The datasheet gives 52 × 20 × 2 mm, which is the pocket that holds the inlay, not the outer leaf. We confirm the overall dimensions with a sample.
It is rated 7–8 m with a 4 W fixed reader and 1.5–2 m with a handheld. Wet bark and dense foliage reduce this, so test on your plants.
The ST-130 is a 360 mm stake-style label with a 100 × 60 mm head, rated 10 m fixed and 2.5 m handheld. The ST-160 is a leaf-shaped tag rated 7–8 m fixed, suited to trees and shrubs rather than pots.
Yes. The tag covers 860–960 MHz, so it reads on 902–928 MHz and 865–868 MHz UHF readers.

Yes, RFID works on metal with tags built for it. See why metal detunes standard tags, compare ABS, PCB, ceramic and label tags, and test read range properly.
Single-use UHF RFID cable seal with a steel-ball lock and a 280 mm × 1.8 mm steel wire; reads at 5 m on a fixed reader for containers, tankers and trailer doors.
Zip-tie style UHF RFID tag in PP with a 53.5 × 30 × 1.9 mm head and 330 mm overall length, for tying IDs onto bundles, bags and cables; reads at 0.7 m fixed, 0.2 m handheld.
Small single-use UHF cable seal with a 36 × 23 × 11 mm ABS head and 280 mm steel wire, read at close range (0.3 m fixed, 0.1 m handheld) for one-at-a-time checks.
PP archive lock tag with a 44 × 32 × 3 mm tag body and 83.31 mm overall length that clasps onto folders, boxes and document bags; reads at 1.5 m fixed, 0.5 m handheld.
