Door hardware has to work as a system. A reader and controller identify the user, but the lock, release device, power circuit and mechanical closing arrangement determine what the door does afterward. Build the accessory list from a door survey rather than selecting each item independently.
The magnetic-lock range covers single and double doors, status-output options and mounting brackets. Maglocks need the armature to meet the lock face correctly. Door swing, frame depth and glass construction decide whether an L, ZL or U bracket is appropriate; a holding-force label does not settle the mounting choice.
Electric drop bolts use a bolt and strike alignment instead. Their standard configuration is fail-safe, and a monitored model provides status feedback. Confirm frame cut-outs and glass brackets from drawings before machining. The door must close into the locking position consistently.
Touchless exit buttons provide relay contacts for a request-to-exit or lock-control circuit. Decide their role in the controller wiring and the site’s required release arrangement. Do not assume an exit sensor alone completes every door’s emergency release design.
The supply must accept the site’s mains input and support all connected loads. Check both continuous lock current and any start-up demand, plus reader and controller consumption. The compact linear supplies and the enclosed power-box options have different input ranges, terminal ratings and backup arrangements. The power-supply sizing guide explains the checks to make.
A closer returns the door to the position needed by the lock, while a rain cover can improve shielding at a suitable exterior installation. Neither corrects an unsuitable lock mounting or changes the reader’s own environmental rating. Send a door photo, frame measurements and the planned wiring with the accessory RFQ so brackets, outputs and power configurations can be checked as one package.

Yes. Include the controller or reader, door construction, lock type, release devices and power requirements. List the accessory SKUs and quantities so fit and electrical settings can be reviewed together.
Not necessarily. Lock-body and armature dimensions vary. Match the bracket drawing and installation geometry to the selected lock.
No. A cover adds shielding but does not change the reader’s tested ingress rating. Select the reader and cover for the actual exposure and mounting conditions.
No. PW-110 and PW-120 have no battery charging circuit. PW-130 lists battery backup as an option, with the battery and charging details confirmed for the ordered configuration.
