IP67 Touchless Infrared Exit Button, Metal, Dual LED: overview
XB-130 is an IP67-rated touchless exit button for doors where a standard request-to-exit plate would face rain, splashes or dust. An infrared optical sensor detects a hand at 0–15 cm and switches a relay output, while a dual LED shows the state: blue on standby, green when a hand is sensed. The slim metal plate is rated for 100,000 operating cycles.
The series comes in three plate formats, each in silver or gun gray: 86 × 86 mm for square 86-type wall boxes, 115 × 70 mm wide, and a 115 × 42 mm narrow strip for tight mounting spaces. Every plate carries a palm symbol inside a circle with an EXIT legend printed below it.
The button runs from 12 V DC and draws no more than 200 mA. Operating range is –20 to +65 °C (–4 to 149 °F) at 20–80% RH non-condensing, with storage from –40 to +80 °C (–40 to 176 °F). RoHS compliance is stated for all versions.
Integration notes
The five-lead cable is color-coded: red +12 V DC, black GND, white COM, green NC and blue NO. Use COM and NO into a controller exit input, or COM and NC in series with a fail-safe lock supply on standalone doors. Budget up to 200 mA per button when sizing the 12 V supply, and seal the cable entry in the wall box so the installation keeps its weather protection.

What does IP67 mean for installation?
IP67 means the housing is dust-tight and withstands temporary immersion, so it suits exposed door frames and gate posts. Seal the cable entry in the wall box as well.
How far away does it detect a hand?
Detection distance is 0–15 cm from the plate. The LED changes from blue to green when a hand is sensed.
Which plate size should I choose?
86 × 86 mm fits square 86-type wall boxes, 115 × 70 mm suits rectangular plates, and the 115 × 42 mm strip fits tight frames. All three share the same electrical specification.
How much current does each button draw?
Up to 200 mA at 12 V DC. Include this in your power budget, especially when several buttons share one supply.
Is the gun gray version specified differently from silver?
No. Finish is the only difference between the -SV and -GY versions of each plate size.
