Thin PET on-metal UHF label you can print and encode in-house: 65 × 35 × 1.25 mm, Monza R6 chip, up to 6 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader.
OM-110 is a flexible UHF RFID label for tagging steel and other metal assets where a rigid hard tag would be too thick or awkward to fit. At 65 × 35 × 1.25 mm it is the longest-reading label in our on-metal label range, and the PET build bends to follow curved surfaces such as pipes, cylinders and rounded equipment housings. It can also be applied to containers that hold liquid.
Rated range on a metal surface is 6 m with a 4 W fixed reader under US settings and 4 m under EU settings. The label is specified for the 902–928 MHz band and carries an Impinj Monza R6 chip. The EU figure indicates it can also serve 865–868 MHz systems at a shorter distance; confirm that with a sample on your own reader. No handheld figure is published for this size.
The face stock accepts printing and the chip is writable, so asset numbers, text or barcodes and the EPC can be applied in one pass on an industrial UHF RFID label printer. We can share the printer models the label has been qualified on, and quote pre-printed, pre-encoded rolls from your data file.
Apply the label flat to clean, dry metal in its final position before you measure range; the published figures assume a metal backing and a 4 W reader. For tamper evidence choose OM-120, and for narrow mounting areas choose OM-130 (55 × 15 mm).

Yes. The PET face accepts printing and the chip is writable, so an industrial UHF RFID label printer can print text or barcodes and encode the EPC in the same pass. Ask us for the printer models the label has been qualified on.
The label is specified for 902–928 MHz, but the datasheet also quotes 4 m on metal under EU settings, compared with 6 m under US settings. Test a sample with your reader before an EU rollout.
With a 4 W fixed reader and the label mounted on a metal surface. Lower reader power, smaller antennas and handheld readers will give shorter distances.
The flexible build lets it wrap onto curved metal, and it is also suited to containers holding liquid. The datasheet quotes on-metal ranges only, so trial it before tagging plastic or wood.
Compare UHF RFID reader bands by country, including US, EU, UK, China, India and Japan. Understand ERP, EIRP, channel conditions and radio approvals.
Wire a UHF reader's D0, D1 and ground to your controller, match 26/34-bit Wiegand, size 12 V power and trigger the barrier by relay. Diagrams included.
Yes, RFID works on metal with tags built for it. See why metal detunes standard tags, compare ABS, PCB, ceramic and label tags, and test read range properly.
