Anti-Copy Encrypted Card Reader, 93 mm Square, Wiegand: overview
AX-150 is a keyless encrypted card reader in a 93 × 93 × 19 mm square housing. It reads 13.56 MHz ISO/IEC 14443A cards issued under its key and hands the card number to any controller with a Wiegand 26, 34 or 66-bit input. Choose it for card-only doors that call for a larger face than an 86 mm reader.
Cards are prepared with a standalone issuing program, so the existing access software carries on unchanged. Encrypted cards can be limited by date and by number of uses, which lets the same reader stock handle visitor, contractor and short-stay cards.
Output parameters are set on site with a configuration card: encryption key, card-number format, Wiegand mode and read mode. One part number can therefore serve projects with different controllers and card formats.
Integration notes
Supply is 12 V DC ±5% at no more than 200 mA. Read range is 0–5 cm depending on the card and surroundings. Wiring follows the family standard: red +12 V, black GND, white D1, green D0, purple beeper input, gray LED input, and yellow to GND for a fixed Wiegand 26 output. The matching touch-keypad model is AX-140.

What is the read range?
0–5 cm, depending on the card type and the installation.
Is there a keypad version?
Yes. AX-140 uses the same 93 mm housing and card system and adds a touch keypad.
Do I need to change my access control software?
No. Cards are prepared with the separate issuing program, and the controller enrolls the Wiegand number from the reader in the usual way.
Is the housing waterproof?
No ingress rating is specified for this model. For exposed doors, choose the IP67-rated AX-120 (card only) or AX-110 (keypad).
What does the configuration card change?
The encryption key, the card-number output format, the Wiegand mode (26, 34 or 66-bit) and the read mode.
