Compact 30 × 15 × 1.2 mm flexible UHF sticker for small metal items. Reads 0.6 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.3 m with a handheld.
OM-140 is the smallest flexible on-metal label in our range. At 30 × 15 × 1.2 mm it is sized for metal items with very little room for a tag: hand tools, small instruments, meters, medical device housings and compact IT accessories. Like its larger siblings it is printable and encodable, so each sticker can carry a human-readable ID next to the EPC.
The trade-off is range. The datasheet gives 0.6 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.3 m on metal with an Impinj R2000-based handheld. Treat it as a near-field label for handheld checks, tool-crib counters and bench-top verification rather than portal or dock-door reading. It uses an Impinj Monza R6 chip and is specified for 902–928 MHz.
The flexible PET construction lets the sticker sit on gently curved surfaces, and it can also go on containers holding liquid. If the item has space for something larger, OM-130 (55 × 15 mm) reaches 3.5 m on metal and OM-110 (65 × 35 mm) reaches 6 m.
Because reads happen at short distance, bring the handheld antenna close to the sticker and test with the reader model your staff will carry. Printing and encoding run on an industrial UHF RFID label printer; ask us for the qualified printer models.

Build an RFID asset tracking system: on-metal, ceramic and tie-on tags matched to each asset, handheld audits, smart cabinets and IP67 HF heads for tooling.
The datasheet quotes 0.6 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.3 m on metal with an Impinj R2000-based handheld, so plan for near-range reading.
Yes. OM-130 (55 × 15 mm) reads 3.5 m on metal and OM-110 (65 × 35 mm) reads 6 m, both with a 4 W fixed reader.
Yes. The face accepts printing and the Monza R6 chip is writable, so IDs and EPC data can be applied on an industrial UHF RFID label printer.
Compare UHF RFID reader bands by country, including US, EU, UK, China, India and Japan. Understand ERP, EIRP, channel conditions and radio approvals.
Wire a UHF reader's D0, D1 and ground to your controller, match 26/34-bit Wiegand, size 12 V power and trigger the barrier by relay. Diagrams included.
Yes, RFID works on metal with tags built for it. See why metal detunes standard tags, compare ABS, PCB, ceramic and label tags, and test read range properly.
Longest-reading tag in our on-metal range: 13 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader from a 69 × 23 × 7 mm ABS body. NXP UCODE 8; 902–928 and 866–868 MHz.
Thin PET on-metal UHF label you can print and encode in-house: 65 × 35 × 1.25 mm, Monza R6 chip, up to 6 m on metal with a 4 W fixed reader.
