Embeddable single-antenna UHF reader engine on the Impinj R2000: 0–33 dBm output, more than 700 tags/s and a 15-pin TTL UART header, in FCC and ETSI versions.
The GM-130 UHF RFID reader module is a single-port, 33 dBm EPC Gen2 engine for OEM engineers who need one read point inside their own enclosure: a vehicle-lane reader, a kiosk, a label printer or a smart shelf. It is based on the Impinj R2000 chipset with a dual-CPU design and reports to your host controller over a TTL UART.
One external antenna connects to the board. Output power is adjustable from 0 to 33 dBm, and the specified read distance spans 5 cm to 20 m, set mainly by your antenna, the tag and the power level you choose. Inventory peaks above 700 tags per second, and reads collect in a 1,000-tag buffer (96-bit EPC) that the host can empty in batches. Tag RSSI, antenna-connection protection and ambient temperature monitoring are built in, and ISO 18000-6B tags get full read/write support alongside EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C.
The transceiver covers 860–960 MHz and ships in two regulatory versions: GM-130-1P-US for the FCC 902–928 MHz band and GM-130-1P-EU for ETSI EN 302 208 at 865–868 MHz. Region plans for China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan also appear in the specification, so state the destination country on your order.
Provide a 3.7–5 V DC rail good for 1.2 A (±10%) and fix the module to an external heatsink, because it depends on that heatsink for air cooling. The 15-pin header carries the UART (115200 bps default, 38400 bps alternative), two 3.3 V inputs and two 3.3 V outputs, a driven buzzer line, an active-high enable and a direction-control pin for an RS485 transceiver. The USB pins are for factory test only. An SDK is available for host-side development.

Yes. The module is specified for air cooling through an external heatsink, so mount it on a metal plate or heatsink inside your enclosure, especially when running near 33 dBm.
A TTL-level UART at 115200 bps by default, with 38400 bps as an alternative. The USB pins on the header are for factory testing only, so design your host link around the UART.
Provide 3.7–5 V DC capable of 1.2 A (±10%) at the module, and connect both supply pins and both ground pins on the header.
GM-130-1P-US is set up for the FCC 902–928 MHz band and GM-130-1P-EU for ETSI 865–868 MHz. If the reader ships to another region, name the country and we check which region plan applies.
The specified range is 5 cm to 20 m. Where you land in that span depends mainly on your antenna, the tag type and the output power you set.
