9 dBi circularly polarized outdoor UHF panel antenna with N-female connector and IP67 ABS radome, for vehicle gates, dock doors and yard portals reading at 6–20 m.
The AN-110 is a 9 dBi circularly polarized reader antenna for outdoor and long-range UHF RFID installations: vehicle access lanes, parking barriers, dock doors and yard checkpoints. It connects to any fixed reader or reader module with a 50 Ω antenna port and, depending on reader output and tag type, reads at 6–20 m.
Circular polarization lets the antenna pick up windshield tags, pallet labels and badges no matter how they are rotated relative to the panel, which matters at gates where every vehicle carries its tag at a slightly different angle. A 70° horizontal by 63° vertical beam and a front-to-back ratio of at least 23 dB keep the read zone pointed down the lane rather than behind the mast.
The housing combines an aluminum-alloy reflector with an ABS radome, sealed by a gasket plus a silicone seal to IP67. It is rated for –40 to +80 °C and 60 m/s wind, so it can stay on an exposed pole year-round. VSWR is 1.3 or better and the antenna accepts up to 100 W.
The RF connector is an N-female jack on the back plate; use 50 Ω coax with an N-male plug and keep the run as short as the site allows, since cable loss comes straight off your read range. Pole mounting suits masts of 40–75 mm diameter, and lightning protection is by DC grounding, so bond the pole to earth. The antenna is built in two tunings, listed at 840 MHz and 940 MHz nominal with 100 MHz bandwidth: AN-110-EU is the version for 865–868 MHz (ETSI) readers and AN-110-US the version for 902–928 MHz (FCC) readers. State your reader band on the RFQ and we confirm the match before dispatch.

Plan an RFID vehicle access control system: UHF windshield tags, long-range lane readers, Wiegand controllers and barrier triggering. Lane BOM and samples.
Plan RFID for warehouse management: fixed readers and circular antennas at dock doors, conveyor tunnels, handheld cycle counts and on-metal asset tags.
Build an RFID asset tracking system: on-metal, ceramic and tie-on tags matched to each asset, handheld audits, smart cabinets and IP67 HF heads for tooling.
Order AN-110-EU for readers running 865–868 MHz (ETSI regions) and AN-110-US for 902–928 MHz (FCC regions). The datasheet lists these tunings as 840 MHz and 940 MHz nominal with 100 MHz bandwidth; tell us your reader's band and we confirm the match before dispatch.
The specification quotes 6–20 m. Where you land in that range depends on reader output power, cable loss, the tag model and the surface the tag is mounted on.
Yes. It is sealed to IP67, rated –40 to +80 °C and 60 m/s wind, and mounts on masts of 40–75 mm diameter. Lightning protection is by DC grounding, so earth the mast.
The antenna has an N-female connector and 50 Ω impedance. Use 50 Ω coax with an N-male plug at the antenna end and the connector your reader port requires at the other, and keep the run short to limit loss.
A circular antenna reads tags whatever their rotation, which suits vehicles and mixed cargo. The trade-off is roughly 3 dB less effective gain on a single fixed-orientation tag compared with a linear antenna of the same rating.

Yes, RFID works on metal with tags built for it. See why metal detunes standard tags, compare ABS, PCB, ceramic and label tags, and test read range properly.
