Bare-board 6 dBi circularly polarized UHF antenna, 120 × 120 × 6.5 mm and 0.12 kg, with a 3 m or 5 m SMA lead for smart cabinets, shelves and self-service fridges.
The AN-130 is a bare-board 6 dBi UHF antenna for building RFID into furniture and equipment: smart cabinets, unattended retail fridges and freezers, checkout shelves and inventory drawers. At 6.5 mm thick and 0.12 kg it fits behind a shelf panel, under a counter top or inside a door where a housed antenna would not.
The board is circularly polarized, so tagged items read whichever way they are placed, and its 35° horizontal by 36° vertical beam concentrates energy on the shelf or drawer in front of it rather than across the room. VSWR is 1.3 or better at 50 Ω, the front-to-back ratio is at least 23 dB, and the antenna tolerates up to 100 W.
There is no radome and the board is not waterproof, so it belongs inside a dry enclosure. The rated operating range of –40 to +80 °C covers refrigerated and frozen displays, provided the installation keeps condensation off the board.
Each antenna comes with a fixed coaxial lead ending in an SMA plug: 3 m on AN-130-3 and 5 m on AN-130-5. It is meant for multi-port fixed readers and reader modules, typically with one antenna per shelf or compartment. The datasheet lists the frequency as 840/940 MHz with 100 MHz bandwidth; tell us whether your reader runs 865–868 MHz or 902–928 MHz and we confirm the tuning before dispatch. For damp or outdoor locations, use the IP67-rated AN-120 instead.

Build an RFID asset tracking system: on-metal, ceramic and tie-on tags matched to each asset, handheld audits, smart cabinets and IP67 HF heads for tooling.
No. It is a bare PCB with no radome and is not waterproof. For exposed or damp locations use the IP67-rated AN-120 (6 dBi) or AN-110 (9 dBi).
Choose the shortest lead that reaches your reader: AN-130-3 has a 3 m cable and AN-130-5 a 5 m cable, both ending in an SMA plug. Shorter coax means less signal loss.
It works with UHF readers and reader modules that have 50 Ω antenna ports. The lead ends in an SMA plug, so a reader with RP-TNC or another port type needs an adapter cable.
