Keyless 120 × 80 mm IP67 reader for QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs, with dual fill lights and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs to your existing controller.
The QC-130 is a keyless IP67 QR code and RFID reader, the card-and-QR-only member of our metal-frame series. With no keypad on the glass, the front is given over to a card target and the scan window, which keeps presentation simple for visitors using the entrance for the first time. It suits sites that authenticate with cards and QR passes and do not need PIN entry.
Inside, a 648 × 488 image sensor and two fill lights read paper tickets and phone-screen QR codes at 5–18 cm, averaging roughly 100 ms per decode. Codes can be turned to any angle and tilted up to ±45°. Card reading covers 13.56 MHz UIDs from MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1 and NTAG credentials, other ISO/IEC 14443A cards and ISO/IEC 15693 tags, plus NFC phones in card-emulation mode. Frame and glass are rated IP67.
Outputs are Wiegand D0/D1, RS485 (including an active-upload mode that pushes reads to the host) and USB through a Mini USB port. Power it from 12 V DC ±5%; it draws under 200 mA.
The harness on this model labels its control wires BUZZ (purple), LEDG (gray) and NG (yellow), so check your controller's LED and buzzer logic before final wiring. The housing measures 120 × 80 × 22.67 mm; the mullion-format equivalent is QC-140.

Apartment building access control hardware: anti-clone readers with matched fob sets, QR visitor codes, 4G controllers for rentals and UHF tags for gates.
Elevator card readers for car panels and lift lobbies: anti-clone encrypted cards, QR codes for visitors, Wiegand or RS485 output to the floor controller.
Turnstile card readers, QR scanners and face terminals for tripod, swing and speed gates, with Wiegand, RS485, RS232 or TTL output to the gate board.
They share the same scanner, card reader, outputs and 120 × 80 mm IP67 housing. The QC-110 adds a touch keypad under the glass; the QC-130 has none, which suits card-and-QR-only entrances.
Yes. Card UIDs and QR results are output on D0/D1. Because common Wiegand formats carry a short numeric ID, check that the QR content your platform issues maps to the format your controller expects.
Yes. Printed and on-screen QR codes are both supported at 5–18 cm; the working distance depends on code size, angle and ambient light.
No. The QC-130 reads 13.56 MHz credentials only. For 125 kHz EM cards, consider the QC-170, which adds 125 kHz EM4100-family support.
Compare Wiegand, OSDP and RS485 reader interfaces: wiring, cable limits, AES-128 Secure Channel and steps for a compatible access-control migration.
125 kHz cards are cheap but easy to clone; 13.56 MHz cards add memory and, on DESFire-class chips, AES security. Compare range, chips, security and migration.
Wiegand 26-bit is an even parity bit, 8-bit facility code, 16-bit card number and odd parity bit. Convert card numbers to hex and back with the calculator.
