IP67 metal-frame reader that scans printed or on-screen QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs, with a touch keypad and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
The QC-110 is an IP67 QR code and 13.56 MHz card reader with a touch keypad, made for doors and gates that must accept both QR passes and cards. It decodes printed passes and codes shown on a phone, reads card UIDs through the same glass front, and passes each result to the access controller already on site. The full metal frame suits exposed entrances.
For scanning, a 648 × 488 image sensor works with two fill lights, so codes decode after dark as well as in daylight. Typical QR distance is 5–18 cm with an average decode time of about 100 ms, and a code can be presented at any rotation and up to ±45° of tilt. Card support covers MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1 and NTAG UIDs, other ISO/IEC 14443A cards, ISO/IEC 15693 tags and NFC phones in card-emulation mode.
Wire D0/D1 to any controller with a Wiegand input, or use RS485, where an active-upload mode sends each read without waiting to be polled. A Mini USB port provides a USB link and can also power the unit from 5 V. On site, supply 12 V DC ±5%; draw stays under 200 mA.
Separate buzzer and LED wires let the controller drive local feedback. The housing is 120 × 80 × 22.67 mm. Choose QC-120 for a 138 × 58 mm mullion profile, or QC-130 if you do not need the keypad.

Apartment building access control hardware: anti-clone readers with matched fob sets, QR visitor codes, 4G controllers for rentals and UHF tags for gates.
Elevator card readers for car panels and lift lobbies: anti-clone encrypted cards, QR codes for visitors, Wiegand or RS485 output to the floor controller.
Turnstile card readers, QR scanners and face terminals for tripod, swing and speed gates, with Wiegand, RS485, RS232 or TTL output to the gate board.
Yes, if the controller has a Wiegand input: card UIDs and QR results are sent on D0/D1. Standard Wiegand formats carry only a short numeric ID, so make sure the QR content your platform issues maps to the format the controller expects. RS485 and USB are also available.
Yes. It reads both printed and on-screen QR codes, typically at 5–18 cm. Actual distance depends on code size, presentation angle and ambient light.
It reads UIDs of 13.56 MHz cards, including MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1, NTAG and ISO/IEC 15693 tags. It does not read 125 kHz proximity cards such as EM4100 or HID Prox.
The glass front and metal frame are rated IP67, and the reader operates from –10 to +50 °C. Where winter temperatures regularly fall below –10 °C, choose a reader with a wider operating range.
Supply 12 V DC ±5% on the red and black wires; current draw stays below 200 mA. The Mini USB port can also power the reader from a 5 V USB source.
Compare Wiegand, OSDP and RS485 reader interfaces: wiring, cable limits, AES-128 Secure Channel and steps for a compatible access-control migration.
125 kHz cards are cheap but easy to clone; 13.56 MHz cards add memory and, on DESFire-class chips, AES security. Compare range, chips, security and migration.
Wiegand 26-bit is an even parity bit, 8-bit facility code, 16-bit card number and odd parity bit. Convert card numbers to hex and back with the calculator.
Ultra-thin IP65 metal reader that scans QR and dynamic QR codes, reads 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz credentials and BLE 5.3, and outputs Wiegand, RS485 or OSDP v2.2.
