Slim 13.56 MHz UID module for MIFARE Classic, Ultralight, NTAG and ISO14443 Type B cards, supplied as a dedicated TTL UART build or a USB build.
The HF-130 reads card numbers from 13.56 MHz ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and Type B credentials in a 50 × 10 × 14 mm package. Supported cards include MIFARE Classic 1K/4K (S50/S70), MIFARE Ultralight, NTAG, FM11RF08 and FM1208. It is built for embedded and handheld designs, tablets, smart locks, access points and delivery or logistics equipment where a narrow module fits better than a square board.
Unlike the combined-interface HF-120, the HF-130 is ordered by interface. HF-130-T is the TTL UART build for microcontroller hosts; HF-130-U is the USB build for PCs, tablets and terminals that take a USB peripheral. Fixing the build at order keeps your bill of materials and host firmware matched to one link.
Both builds return UIDs only; reading or writing card memory is not listed. The rated read distance is more than 20 mm and depends on the card and surrounding materials, so validate it inside your enclosure before freezing the design.
The 7-pin header is common to both builds: 5 V, ground, buzzer, USB D– and D+, and UART TX and RX. Supply is 5 V DC ±5% at under 200 mA, and the serial rate is 115200 bit/s. The module operates from –10 to +65 °C (storage –20 to +80 °C) at 15–90% RH; the dimensional tolerance is ±1 mm.

Apartment building access control hardware: anti-clone readers with matched fob sets, QR visitor codes, 4G controllers for rentals and UHF tags for gates.
Plan RFID for warehouse management: fixed readers and circular antennas at dock doors, conveyor tunnels, handheld cycle counts and on-metal asset tags.
HF-130-T for microcontroller hosts that use a TTL UART; HF-130-U for hosts that connect peripherals over USB. Card support is the same on both.
No write function is listed; the module reports card UIDs. For MIFARE sector read/write, see the HF-180 or HF-160 modules.
Pin 1 is 5 V, pin 2 ground, pin 3 buzzer, pins 4 and 5 USB D– and D+, and pins 6 and 7 UART TX and RX.
–10 to +65 °C in operation and –20 to +80 °C in storage, at 15–90% RH.
Compare Wiegand, OSDP and RS485 reader interfaces: wiring, cable limits, AES-128 Secure Channel and steps for a compatible access-control migration.
125 kHz cards are cheap but easy to clone; 13.56 MHz cards add memory and, on DESFire-class chips, AES security. Compare range, chips, security and migration.
